A glamping festival conference is actually a thing! This new trend has finally reached Sweden.
What better way to build relationships with your international colleagues than to invite them to a Swedish forest by a lake to enjoy three days of delicious festival food, activities, workshops, fantastic music, fire shows, and, of course, a glamping experience?!
We launched our very first glamping installation with a BANG (a BANG with 38 glamping tents + 2 stretch tents, to be exact)! 150 beds with glamping furnishings and decorations were transported to Stockholm by truck and trailer. We spent two tough days preparing for the big event, but with good weather and fantastic support from the teams at Sektion 3 and Aktivitetsteamet, we got our glamping village ready on time!
The next challenge would be to see if our guests would survive the harsh cold and rainy weather that awaited them on the second day of the festival. Would our tents withstand the rain and keep the inside dry? Would the guests stay warm with their duvets and fleece blankets?
The day of departure would reveal all. After talking to some of the guests, we could safely say that their glamping experience was a success! The beds seemed comfortable, the fleece blankets and duvets kept them warm, the festival tents didn't leak, and despite the loud music all night, the guests were able to get a good night's sleep.
We are extremely pleased with the result and look forward to organizing many more corporate events like this in the future.
